Butcher Paper
I just won this on eBay! It is a vintage general Store butcher paper holder.We went to dinner last Sunday at an Italian restaurant that puts butcher paper on the table to keep the tables clean and the kids can draw on. My husband said that is a great idea, we should do this at home! So I went searching on eBay to find a paper stand and viola, I found one! I love the old look and the green is pretty too.
Daybed
This is what I want for the hearth room/gathering room/family room/keeping room. (which ever you prefer) This will be the room that we as a family will spend most of our time and I wanted a big comfy couch. I guess I could get a "deep" couch, but I just love the casualness of this daybed and it is big enough for all of us.

Bed
The one thing that I am looking forward to the most when we move, is a new bed. I've wanted a king size bed since I got married, but we just dont have the room. This sleigh bed is nice. Ive heard that they are a pain to make up, but they are so pretty.

Ive always loved these counter hight table and chairs. Really different. This is what I want for the new house.
Fiesta Ware
Even though I love the vintage Russel Wright, I can only afford Fiesta Ware. The new stuff, not the vintage. My mom and dad bought me three place settings for Christmas last year. Hopefully I'll get more this year. There is just something about Fiesta Ware that I love. The simplicity, the colors and how it has bee around a long time! I prefer the turquoise.

Desk
I cant wait to have a proper desk! Right now I'm stuck with an armoire and a lumpy chair. It is so uncomfortable!
I am starting this blog to post things that I have come across on the net that I absolutly love! We are house hunting so when we move into a new house and I can keep track of things that I want and maybe if I win the lottery one day, I can buy them all! I have become addicted to a few other blogs that feature designers, cool gadgets and great gifts. So why cant I create a blog with cool stuff too? So here we go.....
Melamine
I came across this vintage melamine that I would like to have. Russel Wright is the designer. He also designed furniture, glassware, and spun aluminum.I would really like to have these plates one day. They are really unique and they are melamine, so they are really kid friendly! I love the exotic look and the colors are beautiful! They are made by the students at the Savannah College of Art and Design! We visited Savannah this past summer. I saw a lot of SCAD buildings while we were there.
Laundry Rug
I found this ingenious laundry rug via another blog. I need this for my kids. They just throw their clothes on the floor anyway. Its like a big blue target! You couldnt miss it! It even has handles to gather up all of the clothes and take to the wash!
