I apologize for not posting lately. I promise to get back to normal soon!
I have been working on a new logo/design. What do ya think? Do you like the black background? Let me know. Give me suggestions! I would love to hear from you guys.
P.S. I took that picture of the dandelion this weekend. Me and two of my kids went in search through our neighborhood for dandelions. Most of our neighbors have nice yards, so it was harder than you think. I finally found one! One! I found it at the walking trail near our house. It was on the edge of a drainage ditch! I thought the photo turned out very well. Do you guys get the connection? ...Wishful Thinking...blow the dandelion and make a WISH? Pretty clever if I say so myself. I'm pretty proud of my picture...can you tell?? tee hee!

Necklace
I don't really wear a lot of jewelry, but I couldn't pass up posting this necklace. The blue stones remind me of beach glass. Really beautiful. The blue stones are chalcedony and the green stones are peridots.Siren's Song Necklace-235.00 at Palm Beach Pearls

Post Secret
Have you guys ever checked out Post Secret?PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard. New secrets are posted here every Sunday.
It is really interesting to read what people send in. Its funny, sad, revealing and thought provoking. Really worth reading everyday. On the other hand it feels a little intrusive, like I shouldn't be reading these personal thoughts of people that I don't know. But that is what makes it so appealing!
Post Secret has published three books that you can purchase with another one coming out in October.

Menu Sign

Love this idea that was posted at Apartment Therapy Chicago a while back. This is a menu sign that hangs up outside of cafes in France. Apartment Therapy-Chicago asked its readers if they have seen these on the web or a flea markets. Since I personally have never been to France, I had never seen anything like this, but I definitely will keep my eye out now. Great idea!
