One Father's day tradition we have which started last year, is to give "DAD" pictures. Last year was our first year and so this year we updated them. I got the idea from Carrie when she shared it last year on an ebay board I was a part of. She has been doing them for awhile professionaly and encouraged everyone to show their own.

When I first saw these I fell in love. I keep my pens and paper clips in little metal buckets by my computer at home. But when I saw these, in all of these colors and patterns I just fell in love!

Love this idea that was posted at Apartment Therapy Chicago a while back. This is a menu sign that hangs up outside of cafes in France. Apartment Therapy-Chicago asked its readers if they have seen these on the web or a flea markets. Since I personally have never been to France, I had never seen anything like this, but I definitely will keep my eye out now. Great idea!

Here's another great idea. This is an old pulpit from a church. Danny Seo at Simply Green uses it in his home as a TV stand with storage in the back. It can easily be pushed up against the wall to hide the clutter.

I came across this blog, Queenly Things. In her "about" sidebar instead of her picture of herself she had a silhouette.

So I decided to put my silhouette of me when I was three. What do you think?
